Single phase busduct type HOIO (IPB busduct)
Single-phase busducts are used in systems of generator main leads for currents up to 30kA and voltages up to 36kV.
Their main characteristic is the high reduction of the electromagnetic field and high resistance to short-circuit currents.
HOLDUCT provides IPB busducts cooled naturally, optimized for the needs of the customer in order to obtain the greatest savings possible through:
- Reduction of losses,
- Reduction in assembly time,
- Busduct trunking and support structure configuration.
Design:
A single-phase busduct is an isolated, shielded, self-supporting, naturally cooled and air-insulated conductor
Each phase conductor is encapsulated centrally in a individual enclosure and supported by post insulators. This eliminates phase-to-phase short circuits.
Dry-air overpressure system applied in the busduct system ensures its safe operation in the harshest environments, eliminating the danger of humid and polluted air entering into the busduct.
The use of maintenance hatches allows for monitoring the condition of insulators and their possible replacement.
The individually designed support structures allow up to 30 metre spacing between the supports.
Delivery includes:
- Main Generator Leads busducts
- generator star point,
- neutral grounding cabinet,
- tap-off busducts to auxiliary transformers
- connections to equipment (generator, transformers, generator circuit breaker, cabinets),
